Problem Note 45516: Using a data set name containing Japanese characters in the SAS® Enterprise Guide® Query Builder results in an error
Beginning with version 5.1, SAS Enterprise Guide initializes the SAS Workspace server with the VALIDMEMNAME=extend option and supports non-standard table names in most places within its interface. One exception is the Query Builder. In the Query Builder, if you use an output table with non-standard characters in its name, you see the following error:
Unable to Save File:
(Data set name) is an invalid SAS data set name. Data set names must begin
with a letter or underscore and contain only alphanumeric characters or
underscores. The maximum length of a data set name is 32 characters.
